On Divergent and Creative Thinking of Theoretical Mechanics Teaching

Cultivating creative thinking is one of the main objectives of higher education.While divergent thinking is the important part of creative thinking,the conscious cultivation of divergent thinking plays an important part in the process of improving creative thinking.The characteristics of divergent thinking are analyzed in the paper,which are multi-ends,flexibility and uniqueness.In teaching,we can improve our students' divergent thinking and creative thinking effectively by means of multi-directional radiation,positive direction in reverse and seeking difference from common points.
