Surface ligand engineering on the optical properties of atomically precise AuAg nanoclusters

We here prepared the [Au 13 Ag 12 (PPh 3 ) 10 (SR) 5 Cl 2 ] 2+ clusters ligated by thiolates with different side-groups, which exhibit significant differences in the photoluminescence properties.
