摘要
Abstract We provide a proposal to realize a multiport photon quantum router based on microcavity exciton polaritons with a structure consisting of cavity photons, quantum-well excitons and mechanical oscillators. Among the system, we observe optomechanically induced transparency by analyzing the transmission and reflection spectra, and utilize this phenomenon to design a single-photon multiport quantum router. In the device, the intensity and frequency of output signals can be selected by adjusting pump fields and coupling effects of excitons, photons and mechanical oscillators. We also discover that the router performance is not deteriorated by vacuum and thermal noises by means of noise analyses. Therefore, our proposed photon router is a device with a high transmission efficiency. Our results open new possibilities for constructing photon quantum routers, which may be useful for developing quantum network and communication securities.
