Alotamide B, a New Cyclic Depsipeptide Isolated from Assemblies of Marine Cyanobacteria, Mainly Consisting of Moorena sp.

Alotamide B (2), a new cyclic depsipeptide, along with alotamide A (1) was isolated from assemblies of marine cyanobacteria mainly consisting of Moorena sp. collected at Kakeroma Is. The structure of 2 was determined by spectral analysis. The absolute configuration of 1 and 2 was analyzed by chemical degradation and modification followed by HPLC analysis. We have isolated a new cyclic depsipeptide alotamide B (2) from the assemblies of marine cyanobacteria mainly consisting of Moorena sp. collected at Kakeroma Is.
