摘要
This paper presents a highly integrated 512-element Ka-band linear polarized on-board phased array transceiver system based on silicon beamformer chipsets for communication and radar applications. The presented array wide has a wide operating bandwidth performance from 26 GHz to 30 GHz. By using 5.5mm element spacing of the array, more than 50° beam scanning range of the array is achieved. The scanning loss is less than 3dB when scan to 50°. The measurement result of G/T and EIRP at 28GHz are -1dB/K and 70dBm, respectively. The size of the integrated array board is 132 mm×222 mm× 3.4 mm. Both easy-fabrication and low-cost are considered during the design to support the phased array mass producible.
