The experimental results of synthesis of color gels synthesis of lanthanum and yttrium oxyhydrates are presented. It is found that lanthanum and yttrium oxyhydrates are colored over the whole visual and ultra-violet range. The position of absorption lines depends on the polymer bonds of gel fragments: the higher the degree of polymerization, is the more long-wave region of the spectrum is found. High-molecular polymer fragments differed by a degree of polymerization and color may be present in samples of lanthanum and yttrium oxyhydrates. In gels of lanthanum and yttrium oxyhydrates the continuous vibrating processes of structure-morphological transformations are developed to reduce the periodic changes of the color intensity. The experimental results obtained are in good agreement with theoretical calculations presented in the literature.
