White Peroxidase‐Mimicking Nanozymes: White Peroxidase‐Mimicking Nanozymes: Colorimetric Pesticide Assay without Interferences of O2 and Color (Adv. Funct. Mater. 28/2020)

In article number 2001933, Lei Han and Xin Liang synthesize white nanozymes (GeO2 nanozymes), eliminating the color disturbance of nanozymes themselves for colorimetric assays with peroxidase substrates (TMB). The single peroxidase-like activity frees the assay system from the interference of O2 in real samples. The ultra-high thiocholine-sensitivity facilitates ultra-trace organophosphate pesticide assays based on acetylcholinesterase and acetylthiocholine.
