Metal–Oxide Frameworks: A Triphasic Modulated Hydrothermal Approach for the Synthesis of Multivariate Metal–Organic Frameworks with Hydrophobic Moieties for Highly Efficient Moisture‐Resistant CO2 Capture (Adv. Sustainable Syst. 11/2017)
In article number 1700092, Dan Zhao and co-workers present a new triphasic modulated hydrothermal approach to synthesize multivariate UiO-66(Zr) metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) by modifying their internal pore texture by hydrophobic moieties. The incorporation of hydrophobic functionalities can mitigate the moisture interference in the CO2 capture performance of UiO-66(Zr)-type MOFs, and simultaneously enhance the breakthrough dynamics with smaller pressure drop in the backed column.
