摘要
The Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) coil is essential for enhancing system efficiency in magnetic coupling wireless charging systems. To achieve efficient power transmission, an electromagnetic coupling mechanism consisting of two planar spiral coils is chosen as the optimization object. An equivalent circuit model of the LCC‐S compensation topology system is established, and an optimization method for the magnetic coupling parameters is proposed in this paper. With the objective of maximizing the system's transmission efficiency, the maximum outer radius of the coil, the number of turns, and the spacing between adjacent turns are selected as optimization variables. The WPT system is then optimized using an improved Parrot Optimization (IPO) algorithm to find the optimal coil parameters. Finally, the optimized parameters are applied in simulation models using MATLAB/Simulink, and set up an experimental setup to conduct experimental verification. Both simulation and experimental outcomes validate the practicality and efficiency of the suggested optimization approach. © 2025 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan and Wiley Periodicals LLC.
