The key factors such as curing temperature, water-cement ratio and cement retarder, which influence the cement curing time, are studied experimentally. The experimental results demonstrate that:①optimal logging time reduces 1~3 hours when the density of cement slurry increases 0. 1g/cm3 under the conditions of the same temperature and same cement retarder;②optimal logging time reduces about 2 hours when the temperature increases 10C under the conditions of the same water-cement ratio and same cement retarder;③optimal logging time delay 2~3 hours when cement retarder increases 0. 2 % under the same temperature and same water-cement ratio; ④temperature, water-cement ratio and cement retarder act independently.
