Purpose/Rationale This study examines the interplay among sport involvement, positive emotions, commitment, and satisfaction among older adults, applying the Broaden-and-Build Theory of positive emotions and the Sport Commitment Model as a foundational framework. The proposed model investigates how these factors collectively enhance satisfaction in sport participation, with particular attention to the moderating effects of gender and retirement status.
