This article proposes the use of a series-resonant inverter with extended topology for load impedance matching in dual-frequency induction heating systems. The mathematical analysis shows that the use of the inverter makes it possible to change the primary winding voltage of the matching transformer, and in such a way match the load impedance of the series-resonant circuit at the different influencing frequencies. The simulation results confirm the feasibility of such an approach.
