Anti–Trop-2 ADC Could Change Practice for Advanced NSCLC

In the phase III OptiTROP-Lung04 study, the antibody–drug conjugate sacituzumab tirumotecan (sac-TMT) led to dramatic improvements in progression-free and overall survival compared with chemotherapy in patients with advanced non–small cell lung cancer resistant to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors. The results, presented at the ESMO Congress 2025, suggest that sac-TMT could prove highly beneficial for these patients, who have few treatment options left.
