Expectations of robotics and mechatronics in medical and bioscience fields

Robotics and mechatronics are highly expected in medical and bioscience fields. This article discusses the possibility of contribution of Robotics and mechatronics to those fields on the basis of the author's studies on medical robotics and BioMEMS. Robotics and mechatronics can create new machines, analyzes and control them precisely, which are significantly beneficial for medical and bioscience fields. However, the requirement in clinical medicine is considerably sever and tough efforts are necessary to contribute to it. This article also mentions education for interdisciplinary research.
