Objective: To study the effection of the establishment of oral negative pressure for clinical prevention and treatment of upper limb lymphedema and subcutaneous fluid after breast cancer surgery. Methods: Established oral negative pressure for 30 test group patients, compared the incidence of upper limb lymphedema and subcutaneous fluid collection, and the time of drainage tube completely removed with control group patients. Results: The incidence of upper limb lymphedema was 10%(3/30) in experimental group patients with 33.3%(10/30) in control group of patients(χ2=4.812,P0.05).The time of drainage tube completely removed was shorter in experimental group(χ2=16.530,P0.05).There was no increase of the incidence subcutaneous fluid collection in experimental group(χ2=1.298,P0.05).Conclusion: The establishment of oral negative pressure provides a new way of thinking and methods for clinical prevention and treatment of upper limb lymphedema and subcutaneous seroma after breast cancer surgery.
