The clinical observation of combined chemotherapy with AgII-induced hypertension in 24 cases of brain glioma patient

Objective Chemotherapy is very important role in glioma treatment.Malignant gliomas have no significant result treated with conventional Chemotherapy.Tumorcell resistance to cytotoxic drugs is a major cause of failure in the chemotherapy of malignant gliomas.We developed a new combined chemotherapy with AgⅡ-induced hypertension in 24 cases brain glioma.Method BCNU Vm-26 ad DDP is sequentially used in treatment of glioma at AgⅡ-induced hypertension.NMD is injected in sametime.Results Conclusion The effective rates in two groups were 67% and 20% resperctively( P 0 01).We considered that this method may be more effective than conventional chemotherapy in glioma treatment.
