Alopecia areata associated with vitiligo and DLE:a case report

A case of alopecia areata associated with vitiligo and DLE is reported.A 67-year-old male presented patches of hair loss on the scalp and depigmentation at the periphery of the bald patch;besides there were purplish red papules and plaques with adherent scales and keratinous plugs on the cheeks and back of the ears.Diagnosis of alopecia areata associated with vitiligo and DLE was made in accordance with clinical and histopathological manifestations.
