Review on the progress of the pathogenesy and the drug treatment of diabetic macular edema

Diabetic macular edema is the primary cause for the vision loss of patients with diabetes.People have made a lot of relative clinical studies.In this paper,the author reviews the definition,classification,pathogenesis and the treatment of different drugs in recent years.Conclusion: With the progress made in clinical research of different drugs diabetic macular edema can be treated in time.Thereby the eyesight of patients with diabetes can be protected.
