Study on Bulk Nanocrystalline Ni Prepared by High Energy Ball Milling

Nanocrystalline Ni powder was produced by utilizing high energy ball milling and then sintered into Nanocrystalline Nickel bulk materials.Microstructure investigations were carried out to examine the structure of nanocrystalline powder and bulk.The results corroborate that the average grain size of the high energy ball milled Ni powder is 10nm;pre-pressure sintering block in average grain size is less than 100nm;bulk density relative to the sintering temperature reaches its maximum value at 0.6T_m.
