Experimental Study on Production Technology of LPMC

Low pressure molding compound(LPMC) is a new type of short glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester resin molding compound.To achieve low-pressure molding and low-temperature forming,it requires not only a completely different thickening method,but the entirely different temperature and pressure system from that of the traditional sheet molding compound(SMC) as well.Therefore,the improvement of the existing sheet production technology is the key factor in the success of the project.
