Vliv větvení polypropylenu a alfa-nukleačního činidla na tepelné vlastnosti, morfologii a optické vlastnosti směsí lineárního a větveného polypropylenu
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to investigate the effect of branching of polypropylene (PP) and a specific nucleating agent on the blends of linear and branched polypropylene and their subsequent changes in terms of morphology, thermal and optical properties. Linear polypropylene (L-PP) and long-chain polypropylene (LCB-PP) were used to for the preparation of blends in various proportions. Alpha-nucleating/clarifying agent Millad 3988 based on 1,3;2,4-bis(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol was added in concentration 0,2 wt. %. Both nucleated and clean samples was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, wide-angle X-ray diffraction and spectrophotometry. Using these methods melting and crystallisation temperature, crystallinity, polymorphic composition and haze of individual blends were determined.
