EP16.03-013 Psychological Distress and Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor Expression in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Cells

Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor (β2-AR) expression in cancer cells has been associated with tumour cell proliferation, both in animal models and clinical studies suggesting a role for β2-AR signalling in lung cancer progression. The association of patients’ psychological distress and β2-AR expression on lung cancer cells is unknown. The aim of the study is to explore the association of patient´s psychological distress to β2-ARs expression in patients operated for newly diagnosed non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
