Determination of Puerarin in Pueraria lobata from Different Areas by HPLC

Aim:To determine puerarin in Pueraria lobata from different areas. Method: The contents of puerarin in Pueraria lobata from Shandong, Shanxi, Hunan, Sichuan and so on were determined by HPLC. Result: The puerarin contents fromtwelveareaswere2.81%, 4.61%, 2.02%, 6.57%, 0.55%, 3.79%, 2.22%, 3.44%, 2.81%, 4.28%, 7.78%, 6.48%. The results indicated that the puerarin contents varied markedly from different areas.
