“Co-figurative Culture”and the Construction of the New-type Teachers' Role

From the perspective of cultural transmission,Margaret Mead divided the culture into three types: pre-figurative culture,co-figurative culture and the post-figurative culture.Based on the comparison of the different roles of teacher in the ages of pre-figurative culture and co-figurative culture,the writer of this paper illustrates the characteristics of new-type teachers role and how they should be re-constructed in the age of co-figurative culture.
