Dachaihu Decoction in the treatment of embolism syndrome after interventional therapy on primary hepatocellular carcinoma

Objective To observe the efficacy of Dachaihu Decoction in the treatment of primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patients with embolism syndrome after interventional therapy.Methods 100 patients with HCC in our hospital were divided into treatment group(50 cases) and control group(50 cases).Both of the two groups were treated with general treatment.Dachaihu Decoction was administered in the treatment group for seven days after surgery.Results The duration of vomiting,fever and abdomen pain in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group(P 0.05).The patients with better quality of life in the treatment group more improved significantly than that in the control group(P = 0.042).The levels of AST and ALT were lower after treatment in the treatment group than thaose in the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Dachaihu Decoction can improve embolism syndrome after interventional therapy on HCC.
