Differential survival outcomes of satisfactory tumor response (ypStage I) following neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy vs. neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy of esophageal squamous cell cancer

Recurrence patterns differ between the two modalities in post-treatment pathological stage I patients, with neoadjuvant chemotherapy plus immunotherapy associated with better survival. Studies comparing the two should focus more on survival than tumour response in oesophageal squamous cell cancer.
