摘要
We propose and experimentally demonstrate, for the first time, a simultaneous temperature (T) and transverse load (L) sensing technique based on forward Brillouin scattering in a thin-diameter optical fiber. The experiment reveals that the minimum theoretical measurement errors for T and L are 0.09 °C and 0.67 g, respectively. The proposed method shows great application potential in the field of construction engineering measurement.
