Dosimetric parameters, specifically V10, V20, V30, V40, V50, V60, and MLD of the ipsilateral lung, along with V40, V50, and V60 of the total lung, are associated with grade ≥2 RP in lung cancer patients receiving proton radiotherapy. By identifying the risk factors associated with RP, clinicians can more effectively optimize treatment regimens, mitigate adverse effects in patients, and enhance overall treatment outcomes.
