[The inhibition effect of recombinant Streptococcus mutans JH1140 containing urease gene on Streptococcus mutans UA159].

To study the effect of mutacin of recombinant Streptococcus mutans JH1140 against Streptococcus mutans UA159.Wild Streptococcus mutans JH1140 (20 samples) and recombinant Streptococcus mutans JH1140 (20 samples) were respectively co-cultured with Streptococcus mutans UA159 for 24 hours.One-way t test was used via SAS9.1 software package to determine the statistical difference of the inhibitory rings of the two groups.Four different concentrations of indicative strain Streptococcus mutans UA159 were used in the inhibition with the original Streptococcus mutans JH1140 (20 samples) and the recombinant Streptococcus mutans JH1140 (20 samples).The diameters of the inhibitory rings were analyzed with ANOVA via SAS 9.1 software package among the eight groups.The diameters of the inhibitory rings between the wild Streptococcus mutans JH1140 and recombinant Streptococcus mutans JH1140 were not statistically significant (P>0.05).The diameters of the inhibitory rings among the four groups that the recombinant Streptococcus mutans JH1140 acted against the fours different indicative strains were not statistically significant (P>0.05).Compared with the wild Streptococcus mutans JH1140 ,the mutacin inhibitory ability of the recombinant Streptococcus mutans JH1140 nearly has no change.And the concentration of indication stains can not affect the mutacin inhibitory abilities of the recombinant Streptococcus mutans JH1140.
