[Puncture electrodes of the perforating veins under ultrasound guidance in the treatment of patients with chronic venous insufficiency].

This paper provides the data on the potential of Color Doppler Imaging (performed on the medium-class equipment) for the diagnosis of the low veno-venous shuntings. Puncture electrodestruction of the incompetent perforating veins under polypositional ultrasound guidance is offered. The use of the given technique in 76 patients with chronic venous insufficiency allowed to effectively eliminate the low veno-venous shuntings.
