Comparison of Content of Total Alkaloids in Pinellia ternata from Nanchong and Other Areas

Objective To evaluate the content of Pinellia ternata from Nanchong and the other areas where it is wild and planted.Methods To determine content of total akaliods by UV-spectrophotometry.Results Some differences of content of total akaliods in Pinellia ternata existed among the same and different place of production, and the wild and the planted.Conclusion To a extent, the differences indicate the good and bad of quality of Pinellia ternata from Nanchong and the other areas.
