The application of artery constricting hemostat in clinic on 158 cases of patients after percutaneous coronary intervention

Objective To study the effectiveness and safety of artery constricting hemostat in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.Methods We enrolled 252 patients after percutaneous coronary intervention through the approach mentioned above.Artery constricting hemostat were used in 158 patients,manual and sand bag compression were used in 94 patients,and the duration of bleeding,the duration of immobilization,the occurrence of vascular complications,and the physical comfortableness were observed.Results In artery constricting hemostat group,the duration of bleeding and the duration of immobilization are shortened(P0.01),while the occurrence of vascular complications are decreased(P0.05),and physical comfortableness are improved(P0.05).Conclusion Artery constricting hemostat is effective and safe in the patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.We recommended that artery constricting hemostat be used in these patients.
