Energy bases construction and UHV power grid planning

Due to the regional imbalance between economic development and energy resources distribution in China,the energy resources should be distributed rationally all through the country.Based on the conditions of energy resources,the development capacity and distribution of large-scale hydropower,coal-fired power and nuclear power bases were analyzed.The necessity of developing UHV power grid was discussed from the points of power grid adaptability and comprehensive benefits.To guarantee the large-scale power output,the development idea and target structure of UHV power grid were proposed based on the principles of security,reliability and economy.
