摘要
The nanocrystalline cobalt deposits with different grain size were produced by pulse electrodeposition. The effects of grain size on the hardness and tribological properties of nanocrystalline cobalt were investigated. Results show that hardness of cobalt deposits increases with the decrease of grain size, the relation between hardness and grain size is in good agreement with Hall-Petch hardening effect. The nanocrystalline cobalt doesn't show significantly improved wear resistance with the reduction of grain size, and the friction coefficient of cobalt deposits increases slightly with the decrease of grain size.
