Seismic Time-history Response Analysis of Vertical Vessels

The seismic time-history response analysis of vertical vessels was carried out in ord to solve the proplem of its strength under seismic load.First,the numerical model of vertical vessel was built and the dynamic response analysis was carried out by FEA;then considering the combined action of internal pressure and wind load at the same time with seismic load,strength was checked.The check method of vertical vessel under seismic loads was given by an example.This time-history analysis method is a general method for calculating the strength of vertical vessel under earthquake,and can also be used to other vertical vessels under seismic load.The time-history analysis method is another method except response spectrum method in China vertical vessel standard.
