Nuclear quantum effect (NQE) of light nuclei induces interesting chemical and physical phenomena. Hideya Sugimoto, Masanori Tachikawa, and Taro Udagawa in e25895 perform multicomponent quantum mechanics (MC_QM) calculations to analyze NQE on the hydrogen-transfer reaction of HOSO + NO2 with H2O. The activation barrier of the reaction vanishes by including NQE of migrating proton. H/D isotope effect on the activation barrier is further analyzed using active strain model. DOI: 10.1002/qua.25895
