Chemical Constituents of Plants Growing in Bahrain

The results of a phytochemical screening of thirty plants of Bahrain are reported here, with data on alkaloids, anthraquinones, coumarins, flavonoids, saponins, sterols and/or terpenes and tannins. General considerations of phytochemical screening techniques have been reviewed by Farnsworth (1966).
