摘要
From the linear relation in a plot of the NMR shift and the magnetic susceptibility for metallic platinum as a function of temperature, the contribution of the orbital paramagnetism of d-electrons to the shift is deduced. The values of the orbital paramagnetic susceptibility and molecular field coefficient for platinum metal is also deduced by making use of the value of < r -3 > for platinum atom. A short remark on the definition of the NMR shift in metal is given.
