摘要
Air terminal system prevents lightning from directly strike critical buildings and equipments. This is a well-known protection system in oil and gas industry. Double air terminal works by reducing the ignition in cold vent stack. In this study, double air terminal with height variations is simulated using COMSOL Multiphysics® software. The variation of double air terminal position have been simulated resulting electric field distribution near vent stack. The result shows that double air terminal reduced electrical field near cold vent stack, which indirectly reduced the probability of ignition.
