Objective To explore the relationship between plasma brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)levels and cardiac functional grading,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and P-wave terminal force-V1(PtfV1) in patients with heart failure.Methods After determination of plasma BNP,echocardiography and electrocardiographic examination in 82 patients with chronic heart failure patients visited with in 24 hours,the relationship between BNP levels and NYHA classification of cardiac function,LVEF and PtfV1 were analyzed.Results Plasma BNP levels increased progressively in patients with cardiac function gradeⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ(P0.05 or P0.01);BNP and LVEF was positively correlated,BNP and PtfV1,classification of cardiac function was positively correlated.Conclusion Plasma BNP levels and traditional indicators of cardiac functiontraditional have a clear relevance,it can be used as a good indicator of clinical evaluation of cardiac function;PtfV1≥0.03 bedside ECG can be used as a preliminary basis to assess left ventricular dysfunction.
