摘要
Semiconductor x-ray photon-counting imaging sensors are the core components of photon-counting computed tomography (PCCT) equipment, which requires a semiconductor crystal with a high atomic number, a high resistivity, and a high mobility lifetime product. In this investigation, CsPbBr3 single crystal (SC), one of the most promising inorganic perovskite radiation detection materials, based x-ray photon-counting imaging sensor has been realized by integrating a CsPbBr3 SC onto a photon-counting readout integrated circuit board. The obtained imaging sensor possesses 40 pixels × 40 pixels with a pitch of 80 μm, exhibiting excellent x-ray imaging performance and obtaining a clear x-ray image of a Japanese letter, イ, made of lead. This investigation developed a CsPbBr3 SC-based x-ray photon-counting imaging sensor, demonstrating the application potential of inorganic perovskite CsPbBr3 SC in x-ray photon-counting technology-based equipment, such as PCCT.
