In the 3-year follow-up results from the phase 3 CheckMate-649 trial, nivolumab plus chemotherapy (N+C) continued to demonstrate clinically meaningful improvement in overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) compared to chemotherapy alone, which supports the use of N+C as a new standard in previously untreated patients with advanced G/GEJ cancer and esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC). Consistent with the finding in CheckMate 649, in the Korean subgroup analysis of phase 3 ATTRACTION-4, N+C demonstrated improvement in both OS and PFS in patients with previously untreated advanced G/GEJ cancer.
