Predictive value of nutritional status for delayed healing after open fracture of the extremities in the elderly: construction of a nomogram model

Preoperative nutritional status, as evidenced by BMI, serum protein markers, and validated nutritional assessment scales, was significantly associated with postoperative fracture healing outcomes in elderly patients following open extremity fracture surgery.
