Analysis of Antiseptic Application in 1225 Inpatients

Objective To study the antiseptic application of the inpatients in a hospital and to discuss the medication and its rationallity.Methods The discharge case history of 1225 cases in March,2006 was studied and a retrospective analysis was made to the antiseptic application.Results The rate of antiseptic application was 80.4%,40 kinds of andtiseptic in 9 categories were applied;78.5% of the cases had the application of 1 to 3 kinds of antiseptic and 60.7% of the cases had the course of medication from 4 to 14 days.Conclusion The antiseptic application in this hospital is rational.
