STUDY AND APPLICATION OF KINETIC MODEL OF TWO-STAGE RISER FCC-MAXIMIZING DIESEL AND GASOLINE TECHNOLOGY

Six-lump reaction kinetic model of two-stage riser FCC-maximizing diesel and gasoline was developed, and the kinetic parameters were evaluated by the Nonlinear Least Square Fitting method from the experimental data. The model was solved by Runge-Kuta method. Calculation results show that diesel and gasoline yield and selectivity of two-stage riser FCC technology increase, however, dry gas and coke yield decreases. The first stage conversion affects products yield and selectivity of two-stage riser FCC technology. When the conversion is 80%, the diesel and gasoline yield of two-stage riser FCC technology increase 6.65% than single-stage riser FCC technology, and the selectivity increases 8.31%. The ratio of diesel to gasoline increases to 1.07 from 0.71. When the conversion is 90%, the yield increases 20.85% and the selectivity increases 23.19%. The ratio of diesel to gasoline increases to 0.89. If diesel and gasoline are goal products, the maximal yield of diesel and gasoline of two-stage riser FCC technology increases 11.65% than single-stage riser FCC technology, and the selectivity of diesel and gasoline increases 2.09%. If diesel, gasoline and LPG are goal products, the maximal yield of diesel, gasoline and LPG of two-stage riser FCC technology increases 8.69% than single-stage riser FCC technology. The selectivity of diesel and gasoline increases 16.87%, but the selectivity of LPG decreases 13.62%.
