ISOLATION OF ONE CORONAVIRUS FROM PROVENTRICULUS DISEASED CHICKENS

One strain of virus,which was isolated from cnhickens with proventriculus disease and named JQ9801.has no direct hemagglutination.It can steadily cause dwarf chicken embryos and also cause part of challenged chickens swollen proventriculus and death.Under electron microscope,it showed typical morphological characteristics of coronavirus.VN Test,done with three types of IB anti serum,showed QX serum has the highest neutralizing tire (1∶70.79) to it.JQ9801 is one of IB strains which can cause the chicken proventriculus disearse.Inactivated oil emulsion vaccine from strain JQ9801 has ability of preventing proventriculus type B from happening.
