摘要
The Venlo-type greenhouse is a widely used form of greenhouse structure. Its general span is 9.6m spacing, and the space is no more than 5m. When the spacing increases, it's needed to put trusses on the gutter direction, to replace the original column to carry the roof weight. In this paper, the structural analysis software ALGOR is used to process the finite element analysis on the main frame of the Venlo-type glass greenhouse. Then the analyzing result is used to do the strength check of snow load and wind load on the main frame, which is to provide the reference value on the designing of the pillars and trusses in the main frame of the Venlo-type glass greenhouse.
