Pharmacological Activities of Isoliquiritigenin

Isoliquiritigenin,an isoflavone extracted from the traditional Chinese herb,Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch,has extensive pharmacological activities.This article reviewed the pharmacological studies of isoliquiritigenin focused on its potent anti-tumor effects,anti-oxidative effects,anti-allergic effects,and the heart and brain protective effects,and so on.
