-induced fibrosis, and diet/drug-induced steatosis. Signal changes correlate with standard biochemical and histological markers and decrease after treatment. These findings identify PEGylated NIR-II molecular rotors as promising tools for noninvasive, real-time mechanism-based assessment of liver disease.
