摘要
Emerging Internet of Vehicles (IoV) systems re- quire ultra-low-latency communication to support safety-critical and real-time applications under highly dynamic and mobile conditions. Traditional routing strategies often fail to maintain performance due to frequent topology changes and fluctuating link quality. In this paper, we propose LAMP-SDIoV (Latency-Aware Multipath Planning for SDN-enabled IoV networks), a proactive routing framework tailored for SDN-based vehicular environments. LAMP-SDIoV continuously monitors the network by injecting ICMP-based probe packets to measure link latencies between Road Side Units (RSUs), enabling real-time construction of a latency-weighted topology graph. The controller periodically computes optimal forwarding paths by selecting the route with the minimum cumulative latency and installs corresponding OpenFlow rules across the involved RSUs. Unlike hop-count or static approaches, LAMP-SDIoV adapts dynamically to latency variations, ensuring efficient data dissemination and reduced end-to-end delay. LAMP-SDIoV demonstrates significant improvements in delay-sensitive communication, paving the way for enhanced QoS in next-generation IoV systems.
